Three alternate account numbers are now available under the Debtor assignment screen. The fields are available as variables, as well as in MaxUpdater and MaxExtract.
An Additional Legal Event screen has been added to include buttons for legal events including Discovery, Appearance, Motion, Counterclaim, Appeal, Witness, and Hearing. Data fields for each legal event are shown on each screen. These fields will be available as variables, as well as in MaxUpdater and MaxExtract.
Batch Client Set Maximum Call Settings:
With Version 10, you can now set the Client Setting for Daily Call Activity Count Warning for the Maximum Number of Calls from Batch Account Processes. You can set the maximum number of calls with zero being set for no warnings and choose from All Clients, Client Group, or Client Set. No more single data entry for this setting.
Court Code Cost Balance Rules Updated:
At the court level, Court Cost Balance Rules have been expanded to include one more priority option to determine the cost amount. The ‘All Open Claim Balances’ priority examines the selected current balances on all open claims on the account to determine the cost amount. Selection of this new priority option will ignore filing and judgment balances.
Prior priority options included columns for Claim Balance, Filing Amount, and Judgment Amount.
Document Properties Update Litigation User Fields:
Document Properties now allow automatic updating of Litigation level user defined variables. Prior CollectMax versions limited updating of user defined variable to Account, Debtor, and Claim only via this method.
Email Notifications for Automation Failures:
Receive automatic email notifications when an automation script fails to execute completely to a selected email address. Failure notifications will be delivered via email if the program is able to log the failure and has not closed improperly.
Find By Alternate Account Number:
In addition to having data fields for alternate account numbers, you will now be able to find by these account numbers too.
Modification to the Client List Report:
Open Date Range has been added to the selection criteria on the Client List Report.
Multi-claim Balance Adjustments:
Multiple claim balances can now be adjusted from a single ADJB adjustment transaction.
Payment Percentage Allocation Spread:
This new feature is enabled at the client level and will allow you to automatically apply debtor payments based on a percentage of the claim balance against the total account balance. This percentage-based payment allocation is available for manually entered payment transactions only.
This feature has Claim Itemization date and balance information, Itemization variables for the Validation Notice Documents and Email and Text Opt In and Opt Out Information.
Limit the maximum number of reviews a user can complete each day by setting this limit under User Preferences. Zero equates to no limit on the number of reviews that can be completed.
Review Minimum Time Requirements:
Reviews now include a setting to define the minimum amount of time required before they are able to be finalized by the user. In prior version this was preset by the program. Zero equates to no minimum time setting.

Conditional Transactions on Completion Codes:
On completion code options, a condition statement can be included on each potential transaction. When completing an action with this code, each transactional condition will be evaluated and all transactions that return as true will be posted to the account. Conditional transactions added in this manner are limited to those funded by the firm operating account.
Available transaction types include COST, CEX, FEE, CFEE, CCB, and NRC.
Worklist Preferred Court Selection:
The Preferred Court code has been added to selection criteria on the worklist definition screen.

Automatic Outgoing and Incoming Email Imaging:
This feature will allow you to attached incoming emails to an assigned internal mailbox that will process all the email and attached them as an image. There is an option to save attachments along with the email or as a separate image. In order for the emails and images to attach to the correct account in CollectMax, the Subject line must have ‘J=XXXX’, with XXXX being the account number. Your IT staff will need to assist with the setup to use this new feature.
Automation of Image Search/Convert:
The Image Search/Convert feature is now able to be automated to be run during off peak hours using the Automation settings. This existing feature, found under System, allows for search of both Account and Client images by type and then can convert them from Compact to Normal, Normal to PDF, Compact to PDF, or Image to PDF.
Mass Email functionality has been expanded to allow specific debtor images to be included in emails sent from CollectMax. Specific image types can be selected via Calculated Attachments found on the Mass Email Template tab. You can select the Oldest, Newest, or All images of that type on the account.
The Image Search/Export feature has been enhanced to allow you to perform a mass image type change. Once you select to perform either a search or search by file, you can elect to change all the images shown to a new type in mass. The ‘Change Type’ button will not be shown until the search process has been completed.

MaxPlans Complete All Actions:
The ability to ‘Complete All Actions’ has been included as a MaxPlan step in the new version. DU, DU$, and SP$ action codes are excluded from this process. You can also select which other action codes you want to exclude if you do not wish to complete all as part of the step.
